Ta Dzong, The National Museum

The National Museum, Ta Dzong, is situated behind the Paro Dzong on a hill. It is a historical museum located in a 17th-century watchtower that provides a stunning panoramic view of the Paro valley. The museum was established in 1968 and is known for its bronzes, paintings, and fine art collections. Stuffed animals, butterflies, handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles are also available all from Bhutan. There's a great selection of triangular, embossed, silken, record, and 3-D stamps in the stamp section. The museum's unique circular shape, which resembles a conch shell, makes it more appealing to both local and international tourists.
