A Glacier & View Point Buddha Statue
A Glacier
The glacier near Jispa is part of the larger geographical landscape of the region, with several snow-fed streams and glaciers scattered across the valley. While there isn’t a specific glacier that is widely popular or marked as a major tourist destination, the area surrounding Jispa is known for its rugged mountainous terrain, high-altitude rivers, and pristine glaciers that contribute to the natural beauty of the region. The glaciers in this area are typically covered with thick snow during the winter months, and during the warmer months, travelers can witness the melting of glaciers, forming stunning crystal-clear streams.
Point Buddha Statue
In addition to the natural beauty, Jispa has a peaceful spiritual vibe, enhanced by the presence of a large Buddha statue that overlooks the valley. This viewpoint Buddha statue is perched on a hill or at a vantage point in the village, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The statue itself is impressive, usually standing in a serene and meditative posture, symbolizing peace and tranquility.

YETI Footprint
The Indian army has claimed to have found footprints of the yeti, sparking jokes and disbelief on social media.
The army tweeted to its nearly six million followers on Monday that it had discovered "mysterious footprints of mythical beast 'Yeti' at the Makalu Base Camp [in the Himalayas]".
The yeti - a giant ape-like creature - often figures in South Asian folklore.
There is no evidence proving yeti exist but the myth retains a strong appeal in the region.

Shri Trilok Nath Temple
hri Triloknath Temple is one of the most revered and significant religious sites in Himachal Pradesh, particularly in the Lahaul region. Located in Triloknath, a village nestled in the remote Lahaul Valley near Udaipur, the temple is famous for its unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist cultural influences, making it a fascinating place of worship and pilgrimage.
Here’s a detailed description of the Shri Triloknath Temple:

Mrikula Devi Temple
According to believers, the Mrikula Devi shrine was erected during the Pandavas' exile. It is believed that Mahabali Bhima brought a massive tree here one day and ordered Lord Vishwakarma, the deity's builder, to construct the temple. Vishwakarma built this temple in a single day. Mrikula Devi is known as Mother Kali.

Miyar Valley
Very few people in our country have trekked in Lahaul. Hidden across the Rohtang Pass, which would remain closed through most of the year, the region was cut off for trekkers. But with the opening of the Atal Tunnel, came the possibility of trekking in Lahaul throughout the monsoons, when Lahaul is at its lushest best.
In this remote region of Lahaul, a valley filled with flowers hangs quietly, escaping the attention of trekkers. The route to this valley alternates between remote mountain valleys, quaint villages, and flower beds dominated by the overwhelming presence of Himalayan orchids. This valley is Miyar Valley.
